Crank, a leading fitness studio in Town Square, Dubai, is transforming group workouts through immersive lighting powered by MADRIX.. Known for its high-energy Ride, Shape, and Stride classes, Crank has turned synchronized lighting into a signature part of its immersive fitness experience. At the heart of this innovation is MADRIX’s advanced lighting control system, which brings precision, responsiveness, and reliability to every session.

“MADRIX is fast, reliable, and honestly, it feels like magic,” says Nuno Costa, General Manager of Crank UAE. “When we teach classes, the timing of lighting effects with music drops is critical, and MADRIX gives us total control.” Using MADRIX ORION for real-time triggers and LUNA 4, 8, and 16, Crank’s instructors can program and execute lighting cues with split-second accuracy, enhancing both energy and atmosphere.

In addition to real-time control, Crank leverages MADRIX’s Sound2Light (S2L) and Music2Light (M2L) effects, which generate dynamic lighting visuals based on audio input. These features allow the lighting to respond organically to beats, rhythm, and intensity—amplifying the energy in the room without the need for manual control. By integrating S2L and M2L into their setup, Crank ensures each class feels alive and in sync, with lighting that moves and evolves in perfect harmony with the music.

The system’s flexibility allows instructors to automate effects that respond dynamically to music, so they can focus on coaching and client engagement. “Having automation is a game-changer,” Nuno explains. “We can trust the system to react with the music’s intensity so we can focus on delivering the class and engaging with our clients.”

As immersive fitness environments become more popular, Crank continues to lead the way, and MADRIX remains central to their approach.
