L’ Atelier de Joël Robuchon

L’ Atelier de Joël Robuchon is a modern French restaurant from legendary French chef Joël Robuchon, who held more Michelin stars than any chef in the world. L’Atelier opened its first branch in DIFC, having the biggest showcase in the world, with more than 10,000 m2. In addition to the open space dining room, the restaurant includes an adjacent bar and an expansive outdoor terrace.

K-array was the system of choice for this venue, with its sleek look and high-powered output.

10 x KP52 line array speakers were integrated into the dining room, providing enough power for the DJ’s set and covering all tables evenly for background music settings. Due to design limitations, few subwoofers were placed on the floor. 3 x KMT18P units were placed strategically throughout the venue and incorporated into the furnishings. All remaining areas were filled with 6 x KU210 ceiling mount subwoofers. 2 x KK52 counter tops were mounted on the DJ booth and paired with a KMT12 Mark I sub for the DJ’s monitor system.

The outdoor terrace has its own DJ booth and required the same levels as the indoor area for the winter months. 6 x KP52’s and 2 x KMT18 subs were used to cover the terrace.

4 x KT2 C-2” miniature point source speakers were ceiling-mounted in the toilets area.

The entire sound system was powered by 3 x KA84 and 2 x KA24 amplifiers. A Symetrix’ Jupiter 8 digital signal processor was installed along with Arc-2e wall panel and wireless network for an easy and full control of the system, zoning over 5 areas.
