Miral SeaWorld Abu Dhabi, the region’s flagship marine life destination developed by Miral, comes alive throughout the day with a wide range of live and immersive shows. With multiple performances running on different schedules and in varying styles, the venue requires lighting that can keep pace with a constantly changing environment. To support this dynamic programming, SeaWorld Abu Dhabi incorporated ILLUMA 300H fixtures from Cyclops Lighting into its lighting setup.
Designed for demanding environments, the ILLUMA 300H is particularly well suited to a venue like SeaWorld, where lighting must balance visual impact with efficiency. A key advantage of the fixture is its versatile 3-in-1 hybrid design, which Packs Beam, Spot, and Wash functionalities into a single unit. This allows the production team to switch instantly from sharp aerial effects to soft-edge washes without needing to hang multiple fixture types, maximizing the rig’s potential while minimizing clutter.
The ILLUMA 300H features an 8000K LED engine in Cyclops Lighting that delivers a cooler, crisper white light. This enhances the natural blue tones of the water and helps themed environments appear clean and authentic, without introducing unwanted warmth.
Operational flexibility is equally critical for the venue’s daily workflow. Weighing in at just 13.5kg, the ILLUMA 300H is exceptionally lightweight for its class, allowing the technical team to rapidly install, reposition, or remove fixtures with minimal effort as show requirements change. Its tight 3° beam angle and precise positioning enable focused highlighting of performance elements, ensuring lighting remains controlled and immersive without distracting reflections on viewing glass.
With the multi-functional and lightweight ILLUMA 300H playing a key role in its lighting approach, Miral SeaWorld Abu Dhabi continues to deliver engaging and visually refined shows, supported by lighting technology that adapts effortlessly to both creative demands and operational realities.
