The installation features a combination of Domino Wash LED Wash Moving Head, Bora – LED Wash Moving Head, and Khamsin– LED Moving Heads, enabling dynamic lighting looks that adapt seamlessly across operas, concerts, ballet, and live performances.

A traditional opera house needs soft, painterly light, while a modern theater needs sharp, aggressive beams. Dubai Opera chose these specific fixtures to cover the entire spectrum: Khamsin (The Workhorse): This is a hybrid fixture. Instead of needing two different lights for “beams” (tight rays) and “profiles” (shaped patterns), the Khamsin does both. This saves space on the rig and allows designers to change the entire “vibe” of the room at the touch of a button.

Domino Wash & Bora (The Texture): These provide the “wash” (broad strokes of color). By having both, the venue can handle massive stage coverage with the Domino while using the Bora for tighter, more surgical precision in intimate scenes.
