Avolites launches new range of Ai R Series media servers

Avolites launched its new Ai R Series at ISE Amsterdam at the RAI Exhibition and Conference Centre. The Ai R Series is Avolites’ most powerful range of media servers to date, and comprises the Ai Infinity R4, Ai Infinity R8, Ai Infinity Rx4 and Ai Infinity Rx8. The full range of servers features the increased speed and power of the latest processors and motherboards generation supporting PCI-Express Generation 3.0, solid-state drives, AMD Gen 3 graphics cards and an Intel PCIe SSD module with 1.2TB capacity of media.

With optional 4 or 8 DVI outputs providing smooth playback up to 8K media, DVI/VGA and HD/SDI capture card inputs the multi-award winning Ai Infinity server is ideal for your most demanding video projects (3D Mapping, Multiple Projectors edge blending and LED screens creative video mapping).

The Rx range utilizes an i7 processor with 6 cores running at 3.5Ghz, 16 Gbyte of memory and a fast 80GB System SSD,EDID internal management system, LTC Timecode inputs, 2 x Gigabit Network ports for connecting to Artnet networks, MIDI in & out ports, 4 lines of DMX512, Audio in and output, Genlock – essential for TV projects, and 2 x sync network connections to guarantee vertical sync across multiple systems and an additional 7 inch front color touch screen giving you networked control of your whole show from one integrated and intuitive interface, no matter how many outputs you need. The workstation grade motherboard is housed in a purpose made suspension frame inside the 19” 4U height rack case.
