Dubai’s LEGOLAND® theme park, a landmark entertainment destination designed for family fun and immersive experiences, has enhanced its audio environment with a professional sound system tailored to the unique demands of a large-scale theme park. A major focus of this upgrade was the LEGOLAND® Aqua Park, where the system delivers clear, engaging sound that complements the high-energy atmosphere of the park’s aquatic attractions.
With a requirement for durability, intelligibility, and resistance to humidity, DAS Audio solutions were selected to support the park’s diverse operational needs. Trusted globally in theme parks and fixed installations.
To support the dynamic requirements of the wave pool area, the installation features high-performance line array system directly above the water. This overhead configuration is a key efficiency driver; it provides precise, wide-area coverage that ensures high-fidelity audio reaches guests across the entire pool surface, overcoming the extreme ambient noise levels of a busy aqua park while keeping equipment safe from water splashes.
At the top of the list are ARTEC-320 full-range loudspeakers, with twelve units deployed to provide consistent, high-quality audio coverage and it allows sound to be evenly distributed across expansive zones from the wave pool to pedestrian walkways ensuring perfect tonal balance with fewer fixtures required.
Low-frequency reinforcement is delivered through a combination of subwoofer solutions, including two WR-218S-DX, which add depth and impact to the overall soundscape, their high-output active design which provides the powerful “punch” needed for immersive theme park soundtracks without overpowering essential safety announcements or speech.
Powering and managing the system are PA-4000 high-performance amplifiers, providing stable, efficient power delivery across multiple zones as it is long-term operational stability, ensuring the system maintains consistent audio quality throughout the park during peak visitor periods and extreme temperatures.
