Dubai English Speaking School & College Elevate Its Main Auditorium Sound System with DAS Audio & Acoustical Treatment

Dubai English Speaking School & College (DESSC) is located in the heart of Dubai’s educational environment, combining two of the UAE’s best British Curriculum institutions.

The main school auditorium required an upgrade on its current audio system to accommodate larger crowds and a greater diversity in applications of the space.

To achieve this, two main Line Array stacks were installed as the FOH system for the auditorium. Each hang consisted of the DAS Audio Event series: Event-26A and Event-115A. The system was integrated with Dante control using Symetrix Prism.

The installation of the new sound system was complemented with a full upgrade on the room’s acoustical treatment which saw a total of 220 acoustical panels being installed across the perimeter walls.
