KYO brings a hint of Japan to Dubai, allowing guests to experience an authentic glimpse into this inspiring culture and cuisine.

The restaurant boasts an indoor seating arrangement and an impressive outdoor lounge with stunning views of the Palm Jumeirah and the Arabian Gulf.

Ahead of the new season, Procom was brought on board to upgrade the existing sound system and install a new lighting system.

For Sound, DAS Audio was the system of choice for the installation, offering excellent coverage in all areas with clarity and depth. The system consisted of 4 x Artec-510 10” loudspeaker, 1 x Artec-508 8” loudspeaker, 4 x PA-1500 stereo amplifier, 1 x Artec-S15 bass-reflex subwoofer, and 2 x Q-10 subwoofer. For the DJ booth, Pioneer DJ XDJ-XZ all-in-one DJ system was installed along with an Action 8A monitor.

For Lighting, 9 x CPX 607OP RGBW Amber and UV LED PARs by Cyclops Lighting were incorporated, color washing the bar, walls, and key areas throughout the venue. The system is remotely controlled from a Sunlite CW4 WiFi DMX lighting controller which is linked onto the wireless network of the venue.

For Control, a Symetrix Jupiter 8 digital signal processor lies at the heart of the AV system, which can be interfaced in terms of source selection and level by the staff from an Arc-2e wall controller and wireless application.
