Procom Supplies White Dubai – The largest club in the Middle East

White Dubai, the largest outdoor club venue in Dubai, opened on the 19th of December on the rooftop of Meydan Racecourse’s Grandstand, featuring one of the best sound, light and video experiences in the Middle East.

The lighting spectacle, remarkably synchronized with the beat of the music, immersed the audience in an electrifying experience of the senses.

Procom, a market leader in professional sound, light, video and rigging in the Middle East, and its sister company Prolites in Beirut, designed and supplied the lighting, video and trussing equipment.

The large decagon-shaped aluminum structure forming the venue was built using EUROTRUSS , a global leading supplier of truss systems. Over 200 meters of TT series were used, holding together a body composed of 10 towers with a 33m span. The structure includes 4 circles as well (6m diameter). The space is leveled using 250 EUROTRUSS stage platforms that can support more than a 1000 people, each having a full visibility on the venue. “EUROTRUSS’s support, from the team in the Netherlands, was key in delivering the project on time” said George Germanos, Head of the Technical Department.

CYCLOPS LIGHTING  equipment is installed, namely over 100 CL230B-ER platinum series moving head beams , 50 CPX436-MZ moving head  LED washes , 50 Flash-1 and Flash-40 LED pars with wireless DMX battery powered lights, in addition to 16 CL700S-ER moving heads spots, stroboscopes, haze and CO2 jets. The venue is dominated by about 150sqm of VisioTek LED screens, forming a semi-circle that engages the audience in video visuals. The cued color-change and motion of Atom 10W RGB lasers added a unique effect to the light show. The lighting controller is Avolites Pearl Expert Pro with a touch wing.

White Dubai is now one of the hottest nightlife venues in Dubai. The light and video experience it compromises is acclaimed as a unique experience, first of its kind in Dubai. Procom and Prolites are proud to be part of White Dubai’s success story.
