Client: Meraas – Qasr El Sultan

Meraas approached Procom with its latest concept: A desert cultural and musical experience. The brief included an audio system that is suitable for outdoor live musical performance of more than 500 people but should not interfere with the looks of the venue
Procom installed an array of 6 super compact high power coaxial speakers KX12 on each side. The speakers were configured into the flood coverage mode and angled accurately to simulate a compact line array system. The system was powered from 2 double 18” subwoofers with built-in amplifiers. The front fill was left to the legendary anakonda speaker. Chosen for their thin moldable shape, these speakers formed an almost invisible strip of sound. The opening ceremony featured stunning sound on a music show by the Chehade Brothers from Music Hall with their 12 instruments strong band. Read more about this here
